Booking & payment

How can I book at the Argos?

Bookings are done quickly and online, and only directly on our website. You will receive confirmation of the booking immediately by e-mail incl. QR code which is also your key to access the building, for the check-in/out, the luggage room and the apartment.

Are bookings possible for a few days or for several months?

Our apartments can be booked for a short, medium or long stay.

Is a credit card required for booking?

Yes, in order to be able to make an online booking, you require a valid credit card.

How does the payment of the apartments work?

With business and private customers, payment is done by credit card.

How does the payment of the additional services work?

The booked additional services are paid by credit card.

What credit cards are accepted?

Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and non3D Visa.

How is the price determined?

The amount of the price is based on apartment size, length of stay and time.

Is there a parking facility at ARGOS and how can I book it?

We collaborate with the fee-based multi-storey car park “Burgring”. Parking spaces can be ordered directly via the ARGOS TV app using the “HOME” button of the remote control. Price: € 15.00 per day.

However, you also have the option of parking in the (blue) short-time parking zone (MON – FRI: 9 am – 8 pm, SAT: 9 am – 1 pm) in the city centre of Graz, around the ARGOS building. It is possible to pay at the parking meters with cash. Half an hour of parking time costs € 1.00. The maximum parking duration is 3 hours.

Is breakfast included in the apartment price?

No, we do not offer any breakfast. All our apartments have a fully equipped kitchen. You can prepare your individual breakfast here.

There is also the possibility of ordering breakfast rolls for delivery directly to the door of your apartment via the “HOME” button of the remote control. A Nespresso coffee machine (incl. 4 coffee tabs and tea) can be found in your apartment; additional coffee tabs can also be ordered via the ARGOS TV app.

Check-in & check-out

Is there a reception at the ARGOS?

There is no reception at the ARGOS. In the event of questions and in an “emergency”, you can reach us at +43 (0) 664/965 25 84.

How do I enter the ARGOS building?

In your booking confirmation, you will find a QR code that serves as a key. (QR code reader at the entrance door.) The QR code also serves as identification at the self-check-in in the foyer.

From when can I check in on my date of arrival?

The apartment is available to you from 3 pm onwards.

How does the check-in work?

You enter the foyer of the ARGOS and go to the check-in counter. You can check in quickly and easily using your QR code. To do so, follow the instructions on the screen. After completion of the check-in, your booked apartment will be released.

When do I have to check out on my day of departure?

The apartment is available to you until 10 am.

How does the check-out work?

Simply check out at the counter in the foyer with the QR code.

Equipment & service

Do I have a contact person during my stay in the ARGOS?

As a general rule, we are a personnel-free hotel.

Are pets permitted in the apartments?

We would like all guests to feel at home with us. That is why pets are not permitted!

What equipment does the apartment have?

All apartments are fully furnished and fully equipped.

Modern kitchenette with ceran hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine incl. hot water function, cooking equipment, glasses, cutlery and tableware, table with seating, armchair or pull-out couch, couch table, carpet, box spring bed (double bed), wardrobe, bathroom incl. hairdryer, safe, flat screen, free-of-charge Wi-Fi, parquet flooring, air- condition.

What services are there in the ARGOS?

All our apartments are fully furnished and fully equipped.

You can order the additional services for a fee under the ARGOS TV app using the “HOME” button of the remote control: apartment cleaning, shopping service, breakfast service, taxi transfer, textile service,…

Do I have to bring bed linen and towels with me?

No, your apartment is ready for occupancy by the booked number of persons. You only have to bring your suitcase.

Is there are washing machine in the apartments?

There is no washing machine in the apartments. In the basement of the hotel there is a washing machine and a dryer available to you for a fee (costs per washing/drying cycle: € 2.50, coin insertion only).

How often is the apartment cleaned?

As a general rule, one final cleaning is included.

You can order interim cleaning directly via our ARGOS TV app using the “HOME” button of the remote control.

Is it possible to have the apartment cleaned regularly?

At any time during your stay, you can order interim cleaning directly via our ARGOS TV app using the “HOME” button of the remote control.

What does final cleaning mean?

The final cleaning is a thorough cleaning of the apartment after your departure; the costs incurred for this will be invoiced on a one-time basis.

Are the apartments air-conditioned?

Yes, the apartments have an air-condition.

Can I take my own furniture with me?

No, as our apartments are fully equipped.

Is smoking permitted?

No, we are a non-smoking hotel.

Is there Wi-Fi in the apartment?

There is free-of-charge Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Are there barrier-free apartments?

Yes, ARGOS also has barrier-free apartments.

Can the tap water in the apartments be drunk?

In Austria, the water from the taps is safe to drink. The exceptions to this are the taps specifically marked. They normally have a sign on them saying “Kein Trinkwasser” (“No drinking water”) and/or a symbol of a crossed-out glass.

Are there barrier-free apartments?

Yes, barriere-free apartments are available.

Is there a luggage room?

In the basement of the building, there is a free-of-charge room for storing your luggage temporarily. You can access this with your QR code.

How far is the ARGOS from the city centre?

In approx. 400 metres you can reach the Herrengasse directly and after approx. 300 metres you have reached the main square on foot.
